Craig Cohen

Director of Sales & Marketing

As head of the Marketing and Sales team, Craig sees it as his job to make sure Advance is always representing who we are to the staffing world.

“That’s easy to do when you have a culture like ours, which is deeply rooted in charity and the idea that we take our responsibility to our clients seriously. I used to have a poster outside my office that said “More than money” and I loved it because it was exactly what we represent. And fortunately because that’s who we are, my job has always been easy because I never had to try to “sell” us or “market” us. We just had to be who were are.”

Before this position, Craig spent seven years working in tandem with Sales while he oversaw credit and underwriting functions and also supported clients with risk management, acquisitions and business valuation. Prior to Advance Partners, he spent his career at both small community and large regional banks in credit underwriting, risk management, and loan workout.

In 2017, Craig was awarded the Commercial Finance Association’s 40 Under 40 Award, which recognizes the high achievers and rising stars in the commercial finance industry. He is also very committed to The First Tee of Cleveland, a youth development program that teaches core values and life skills through the game of golf. He is both a Volunteer Coach and serves on the Board of Directors.
